Elaine Strutz

Elaine is an Emmy Award-winning film & TV editor, writer, and director from Detroit, MI.
She's been making movies since high school, where she earned enough giant foam checks from video contests to make the move to New York. There, she put herself through NYU's film & TV program.
Since graduating, she's edited for TV shows such as TLC's Say Yes to the Dress, Discovery's Killing Fields, truTV's Impractical Jokers, feature documentaries such as Academy Award-winning director Zana Briski's (Born Into Brothels) Reverence, and more.
Elaine's most recent short, Get Action, in which she wrote, directed, edited and co-starred premiered at Nitehawk Shorts Festival and was selected to screen at many others listed here.
She met Tim at a karaoke bar where she sang, "All By Myself."
Tim Young
Co-Founder & Filmmaker
Tim is a writer, filmmaker and a graduate of the Film & TV program at NYU.
He's written and directed web series, shorts, and comedy sketches that have been featured by The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and the front page of Funny Or Die, including an episode of the Broad City web series.
His short film Bonding premiered at IFF Boston in 2016 and went on to play numerous festivals nationwide. He has also studied improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre since 2012.
Tim has worked in the production department on films, commercials, television, and corporate projects. He serves as Creative Director at boutique production firm Executive Video, where he produces and directs.
He met Elaine at a karaoke bar where he sang, "Benny and the Jets."
